Welcome to The Cloud One Audio Branding and Hotel Music Guide.
It is based on the HearDis! audio branding process and outlines the journey towards creating the distinct sound of The Cloud One Hotels.
The following descriptions and mood songs introduce the music categories of The Cloud One Hotels and explain their implementation within the music program.
Using music strategically aims at charging The Cloud One Hotels with desired attributes - emotionally and culturally.
Leveraging the HearDis! audio branding process, we are able to answer the question of how The Cloud One Hotels sounds by looking closer at the identity and core values of the brand. We identify the central attributes and translate them into musical guidelines.
The result is an individual brand sound which complements and supports an efficient and holistic brand communication within the hotel.
Our main source for developing the The Cloud One brand sound was the document “TCO_ZIELGRUPPE_WIP.pdf” and briefings by Larissa Schmidt (provided in August 2022).
As specified in the briefings, we have selected four main characteristics plus the “local element” to build the foundation of this brand sound guide.
All brand values, target-group briefings, etc. find their place within these categories.
The translation of those key elements into music characteristics is the premise for creating four distinct music categories for The Cloud One.
The “sound of the city” is influencing all categories and gives the music program a “local twist”. (This can be adapted for additional future destinations to give each location its own individual sound, e.g. “the sound of L.A.”.)
As a result, the sound of The Cloud One consists of these four music categories:
The sophisticated sound of the city
The inspiring sound of the city
The cosmopolitan sound of the city
The open minded sound of the city
The four deduced music categories can not be regarded as independent. They are interlaced and overlaps between the categories can sometimes be heard in a single musical piece.
However these overlaps are essential in ensuring a fluid and dynamic music program.
Our eclectic 24/7 music curation is a representation of the lively local community and amplifies an authentic "Big city"-experience, no matter the length of the stay.
It is a soundtrack that brings the spirit of the city home to resonate in comfort together with the sophisticated interior design.
We accompany different situations during the day and night. Be it a slow morning, a productive afternoon or fueling curiosity for the night. The sound of The Cloud One welcomes people from near and far in its vibrant and inspiring environment.
